Meet Meghan Nimmo (she/her)

Registered Provisional Psychologist

What people love about Meghan:

People appreciate Meghan’s compassionate, kind, and empathetic demeanour. You really feel like she is walking alongside you as you navigate some of life’s challenges. Meghan has had personal experience with some of the areas she works within, specifically health trauma and navigating chronic illness, and this is really appreciated by clients and family members.

What your experience with Meghan would be like

Meghan loves to provide a relaxed, casual, and free environment to get to know you and your concerns in. If you are a youth coming in, she may meet with you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) to get to know more about the presenting concerns and then will meet with you privately to keep the conversation going. Meghan always has games, fidgets, and other hands-on tools at the ready to add to your comfort in the counselling experience. Your experience with Meghan will be one of comfort, affirmations, and encouragement that is at your own pace. Meghan welcomes you to be yourself and express yourself however you wish (even if that includes swearing, dark humour, or more!).

If you have issues with any of the following:

Chronic illness, chronic pain, health issues, health trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, parent-child dynamics, parenting, school issues, relationships and are looking for couple’s counselling, and are 12+ through adult…

then Meghan might be a great fit for you!
